About Us — Venom Custom

From the Beginning

Don started out as a competitive shooter and was sending his guns out for work to be done. He sent out one gun at the end of a season for a trigger job and at the start of the next season still didn't have it back.

He decided that with his mechanic background, this was work he could do on his own. Don began tinkering with his own guns — trigger jobs and barrel fittings. Things went well, and word got out. Don began working on other people's guns too.

Where We Are Now

Venom Custom LLC became fully licensed in 2018 and is now located in Nashville, TN. Each gun is a custom build, and Don focuses on 1911 and 2011 platforms. Venom Custom LLC is dedicated to building guns with quality workmanship, open communication, and in a timely manner.

Platform, cut, sights, grip texture, trigger weight — every spec gets decided against how you shoot.

Machine

Frame work, slide cuts, barrel fitting, and trigger tuning done in-house to competition tolerances.

Test

Every build gets shot before it ships. If it doesn't run right on the range, it doesn't leave the shop.

Deliver

You get a gun that's already proven itself — and a direct line back to the person who built it.
